Project details
Internal alterations and fitting out of a Grade II listed building to form a retail shop for The Oxford Collection. All internal shop fittings were purpose made including display cabinets, shelving and counters. The general appearance and the use of oak gives the impression of a traditional interior enlivened by modern display lighting. Finishes, including stone flooring and painted wall panelling, are of a high standard. The fireplace is second hand and salvaged from a local public house. The existing shop front was slightly modified whilst lettering and logos were carefully chosen to enhance the new dark blue paintwork. The shop has won an Oxford Preservation Trust award.
