Project Details
A competition entry for an extension to the Town Hall, Oxford. Additional
administrative accommodation was required on a derelict site adjacent
to the Town Hall. As part of the brief the corner building, Ebor House,
was to remain and be incorporated into the new design. The scheme allowed
for a three/four storey building containing a mixture of open floor space
and cellular offices together with support services and facilities. The
Blue Boar Street elevation was treated as an extension to Ebor House in
natural stone with a clay tile roof.
